Machine Room Less (MRL) Elevator
Kayo Elevator’s MRL lifts are designed with efficiency, safety, and sustainability in mind. Our compact gearless machines consume minimal energy while ensuring smooth and secure operation through advanced control systems.
Ideal for low to mid-rise buildings, our MRL lifts use a Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) Gearless Drive installed within the shaft, eliminating the need for a separate machine room. This not only cuts construction costs but also offers greater architectural flexibility.
Our MRL lifts operate at speeds of 1.00–1.05 m/s and accommodate 6 to 20 passengers.
Over Mounted Main Engine (Standard Type)
Main Engine installed into the space between the shaft top car and the elevator shaft wall, control cabinet installed beside the top lifts door, so as to minimize the link between the control cabinet and the main engine for easier overall maintenance.
Traction System with Green Environment Protection
The compact design of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) Traction Machine makes it significantly lighter—nearly 50% less than conventional traction machines. Our machine room layout is optimized to match this compact structure, maximizing space efficiency and enhancing overall building utility. This design minimizes the structural impact of the machine room, allowing for better space planning within the building.
Compact Control Cabinet
Our elevators are equipped with a specially designed slim control cabinet tailored for elevator use. This reduces the thickness of the cabinet, effectively saving shaft space and improving the overall space efficiency of the building.
To enhance energy efficiency, we use long-life LED lights inside the elevator car, replacing traditional halogen lamps. Since lighting can account for up to 40% of an elevator’s energy use, this switch helps save up to 80% in energy costs while offering a lifespan nearly ten times longer than halogen bulbs.
